Localization of Steroidogenic Enzymes in Adrenal Cortex and its Disorders

Abstract

Immunolocalization and in situ hybridization analysis of steroidogenic enzymes demonstrated the localization of steroidogenesis in the adrenal cortex and its disorders. The findings obtained provided new insights into adrenocortical hormonal metabolism, especially through establishing endocrine-pathological correlation. © 1994, The Japan Endocrine Society.
