Abstract

IN BRIEF Obstacles to realizing the clinical benefits of continuous glucosmonitoring (CGM) for daily diabetes management are being overcome with more affordable, user-friendly technologies. This article describes a novel category of CGM known as “flash” that may allow more routine use of continuous data for greater numbers of patients treated in primary care.
