Abstract

An electrochem. photovoltaic cell was prepared from a photoelectrode made from TiO2 board and a cathode made from a Pd/Ru-supported gas diffusion electrode. The formation of HCOOH at the cathode due to reduction of CO2 was observed, indicating the formation of HCOOH at a low excess voltage (>-0.7 V) and a high c.d. The exptl. results supports our previous report.
