Informasi Pencegahan Wabah Virus Corona (Covid-19) untuk Mengantisipasi Penyebaran di Lingkungan Masyarakat Tani Kabupaten Konawe Selatan

Abstract

The existence of the coronavirus outbreak (Covid-19), has an impact on all sectors of human life. In a situation of uncertainty, one of the important supports for basic needs is food. Experience of various crises, the food system is a determining factor. Low stocks, soaring prices are a phenomenon that allows chaos during times of crisis. In the context of the food system, besides the availability of food, it is also important to pay attention to agricultural business actors. The impact of the spread of the coronavirus outbreak is not only in urban areas but also in rural areas, making agriculture a vulnerable sector. This is related to the aging profile of farmers, the lack of information received by farmers and the lack of health infrastructure in the village, and most of them rely on physical labor to earn income. The health of farmers and farm workers is an important factor in saving our food production in the future. Therefore, the solution to the objective of this integrated KKN-Thematic community service program is the active participation of student volunteers participating in the Covid-19 Thematic KKN and help prevent the spread of the coronavirus outbreak by providing socialization information about physical distancing, and compulsory use a mask, wash hands or use a hand sanitizer to ensure healthy farming communities are protected. Carrying out community service social activities, providing agricultural production facilities assistance, distributing masks, and distributing information pamphlets on the prevention of the coronavirus outbreak.Keywords: Information, Prevention, Covid-19, Farmers Society
