Abstract

The article describes the experiences of academic libraries at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia and Holland College in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island with the implementation of the software packages LibGuides and SubjectsPlus, respectively. The 27 subject guides were created by five Acadia librarians and one archivist with the assistance of the web technician. LibGuides is described SpringShare as a fully featured web 2.0 content management. The aim of the Holland project is to develop a better method for content management.
