Abstract

A 13-year-old girl with hypochondroplasia is reported. Short limb dwarfism and a noticeable lumbar lordosis are the main clinical findings. There are no facial abnormalities and no rhizomelia as in achondroplasia. Diagnosis of hypochondroplasia and the exclusion of achondroplasia and other forms of short limb dwarfism are made by radiological investigations of the skeleton.
