Abstract

The article reports on the announcement by the European Union's European Commission stating that media support schemes in Denmark, France, Ireland, and Poland had been approved. The Danish scheme provides for direct grants of 10 million Danish krones to publications. The French scheme provides for a tax incentive to music producers to promote music production. The Irish scheme provides for film production. The establishment of the Polish audiovisual fund and the Polish Film Institute has been implemented.
