Perancangan Sistem Informasi Peminjaman Buku Perpustkaan di SMK Tamansiswa Padang

Abstract

The school library is one of the important facilities that play a role in helping students find learning resources and support each learning. Some of the problems that exist at SMK Tamansiswa Padang are the length of time required by librarians in providing information on the number of books, book status and book lending transactions to the principal. The purpose of this study is to create an information system for borrowing books that can help solve problems faced by school librarians. The information system development model used is the SDLC iterative model. In this model there are 3 stages, namely 1) design and development, 2) testing and 3) implementation which is carried out repeatedly. The results of this study are desktop-based library information system software that has been validated using blackbox and whitebox testing so that this system is suitable for use in the library activities of SMK Tamansiswa Padang.
