Abstract

Chlamydia pneumoniae has been increasingly recognized as an important aetiological agent in community-acquired pneumonia. A case of severe community-acquired pneumonia and multifunction dysfunction syndrome resulting from Chlamydia pneumoniae infection in a previously healthy adult is presented.
