Kebahagiaan Perkawinan Isteri dalam Konsep Perempuan Ideal Jawa

Abstract

This study illustrates the wife happiness in various cultural metaphors, one of them by using a Javanese cultural perspective. The purpose of this research is to provide conceptual constructions of marriage happiness of wives according to the ideal concept of Javanese women. There are four aspects of marriage happiness, namely harmony, husband and wife attachment, marital intimacy, and economic life.The research finding also found that the Wulas Sari Script contains 13 attitude learning principles besides the ideal woman characteristic. Among the 13 principles, it was found that there were only 8 points used commonly by the women: obedience, loyality,response, readiness, worship, tenderness, self take care and skillful.This study provides the hypothesis and conceptual basis on the wife marriage in the concept of Javanese ideal women.
