Abstract
This study aims to examine the level of participants' acceptance of the Lifelong Islamic Education (PISH) course training program at community colleges. The study involving 270 samples consisted of participants with a background in religious education, skills, and technical as well as the general public. Quantitative data using survey form instruments were analyzed descriptively using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 24 to obtain frequencies, percentages, means, interpretations, and standard deviation while inferential analysis using Independent Sample T-Test. The results of the study on the acceptance of participants are at a high level that is (M=4.18, SP.=0.48). The inferential analysis found no significant differences based on the residential area. In essence, the implementation of the program for Lifelong Islamic Education courses in community colleges has succeeded in giving a positive and excellent impact. The implications of this study show that the implementation of PISH courses needs to be improved from time to time, especially aspects that include quality, curriculum, management, program management, facilities, student mobility, and teaching staff. It is hoped that the findings of this study can be used as a guide to the coordinator of the PISH course program so that the quality of teaching and learning PISH can be further improved more effectively. ABSTRAK Kajian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau tahap penerimaan peserta terhadap program latihan kursus Pendidikan Islam Sepanjang Hayat (PISH) di kolej komuniti. Kajian yang melibatkan 270 orang sampel ini terdiri daripada peserta yang mempunyai latar belakang pendidikan agama, kemahiran dan teknikal serta orang awam. Data kuantitatif yang menggunakan instrumen borang kaji selidik dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan Pakej Statistik untuk Sains Sosial (SPSS) versi 24 bagi mendapatkan kekerapan, peratusan, min, interpretasi dan sisihan piawai manakala analisis inferensi menggunakan Ujian-T Sampel Bebas. Hasil kajian terhadap penerimaan peserta berada pada tahap tinggi iaitu (M=4.18, SP.=0.48). Analisis inferensi mendapati tidak menunjukkan perbezaan yang signifikan berdasarkan kawasan tempat tinggal. Intihannya, pelaksanaan program bagi kursus Pendidikan Islam Sepanjang Hayat di kolej komuniti telah berjaya memberi impak yang positif dan cemerlang. Implikasi kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa, pelaksanaan kursus PISH perlu dipertingkatkan dari semasa ke semasa terutamanya aspek yang meliputi kualiti, kurikulum, pengurusan, pengendalian program, fasiliti, mobiliti pelajar dan tenaga pengajar. Dapatan kajian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan panduan kepada penyelaras program kursus PISH agar kualiti pengajaran dan pembelajaran PISH boleh ditingkatkan lagi secara lebih berkesan.
