Abstract

The integration of blockchain technology with telematics offers a transformative approach to secure and transparent data sharing in supply chain management. Blockchain's decentralized and immutable ledger ensures data integrity and security, while telematics provides real-time tracking and monitoring of logistics. This synergy addresses critical issues such as fraud, inefficiencies, and lack of transparency. Blockchain's capability to record and verify transactions ensures that all participants have access to a single, tamper-proof version of the truth, enhancing transparency and accountability. Telematics contributes by collecting and transmitting real-time data about the movement and status of goods, optimizing logistics operations and improving customer satisfaction. This survey paper explores the benefits, challenges, and applications of integrating blockchain technology with telematics in supply chain management. It provides a comprehensive overview of the current state of research and practice, drawing on existing literature, case studies, and expert insights.
