ANTESEDEN KINERJA KELOMPOK (STUDI KASUS PRODI ILMU SOSIAL PERGURUAN TINGGI SWASTA DI YOGYAKARTA)

Abstract

Relatively little research on group performance is carried out as a research object. Therefore, this study aims to examine group performance based on Social Exchange Theory. The population of this research is 113 study programs in social sciences at private universities and universities, and 105 study programs meet the requirements as data. While the object of group research consists of the chairperson and secretary of the department. The research model uses the census model. Antecedents include perceptions of organizational support, distributive justice, and the consequences of group performance. The findings show that perceived organizational support has a significant role in predicting group performance, and distributive justice has no role in predicting group performance. There is still a need to do research with group research objects, and this research can add references for further research with group data.
