Kepastian Keselamatan Dalam Kisah Para Rasul 4:12 Sebagai Pendorong Pekabaran Injil

Abstract

The salvation that believers accept as God's gift is sometimes only accepted selfishly without prioritizing other people who have not received and known the truth of this salvation. Believers think that missions are the job of church leaders and servants alone, so there is no motivation to preach the gospel of salvation. The author describes the study of the certainty of salvation as an incentive for believers to continue to proclaim the news of salvation for all mankind. Using a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach, it can be concluded that the certainty of salvation in Acts 4:12 is the driving force for the Gospel message. It is part of the actualization of the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus which will continue to be carried out until His second coming. By doing and understanding, firstly, understanding that in the theological study and exegesis of Acts 4:12 the value of salvation is found which is only found in the Name of Jesus Christ. Second, this brings believers to believe that exclusive salvation in Jesus Christ is part of the believer's faith and spirituality. Third believers can understand the nature and essence of evangelism which plays a very important role in educating believers to remain enthusiastic about preaching the Gospel. The four believers are required to actualize the Great Commission as an indicator of believers in the role of evangelism. This is done as part of God's plan to make believers God's fellow workers who bring good news to those who do not yet know the truth in Acts 4: 12.
