Atendimento psicológico e a secretaria de políticas para as mulheres

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to analyze the proposals of the Secretariat of Policies for Women for psychological care of women victims of violence presented in the manuals, terms of reference and technical standards. To this end we performed a discourse analysis of the documents published by the SPM which serve to guide intervention in psychology. It was observed that the proposals are based mainly on understanding the hierarchical relationships between the sexes and those specific guidelines for the performance of the psychologist are still poorly defined, general and confused, so it is unclear what the role of psychologist the politics of combating violence against women. Thus, the potential of psychologicalcare in this context are minimized.
