Abstract

A patient is described who developed a bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome and a trigeminal sensory neuropathy as the initial manifestations of mixed connective tissue disease. Either condition can occur in other connective tissue diseases, but this combination has not been reported previously in mixed connective tissue disease, in which, however, trigeminal sensory neuropathy is frequently seen.
