Abstract

Fermatean fuzzy sets (FFSs), proposed by Senapati and Yager (0000), can handle uncertain information more easily in the process of decision making. They defined basic operations over the Fermatean fuzzy sets. Here we shall introduce four new weighted aggregated operators, namely, Fermatean fuzzy weighted average (FFWA) operator, Fermatean fuzzy weighted geometric (FFWG) operator, Fermatean fuzzy weighted power average (FFWPA) operator, Fermatean fuzzy weighted power geometric (FFWPG) operator over Fermatean fuzzy sets. We discuss their corresponding desirable properties in details. In addition, we shall give some conditions to examine the correctness regarding the defined operations. Then, we propose an approach for MCDM problem in light of new operators under Fermatean fuzzy condition. At last, a viable case for picking the specific spots for home construction is given to check the created approach and to show its practicability and viability.
