Abstract

The article presents an analysis of the challenges and obstacles, faced by women in scientific career in Brazil, particularly in the field of Physics, in their attempts to achieve positions of prestige and power. The analysis was made by participant observation in Second IUPAP Conference on Women in Physics and by conducting semi-structured interviews with researchers in the area. © 2013 by Revista Estudos Feministas.
