Abstract

Deoxypodophyllotoxin and ethyl p-methoxy-trans-cinnamate were isolated as the cytotoxic principles from Biota orientalis (L.) Endl. and Kaempferia galanga L., respectively, by tracing the inhibitory activity against Hela cells. © 1985, The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan. All rights reserved.
