Abstract

This article aims to amplify the evidences and considerations that deal with the teaching of Art in public schools and also with some public politics aspects. Our worries about the teaching of Art path in this country and its reality nowadays has driven us to conceptualize it with some educational politics aspects, associating the teaching of Art to subjects that stir teachers' awareness, their performance and their involvement in pedagogic practices in the pedagogic conditions, that allowed us to live the pedagogic politics which are marked by globalization and postmodernism. © 2009 Fundação Cesgranrio.
