Abstract
This study is a preliminary study with the aim is to get a grip coefficient. The aim of the first year is to obtain the right material composition for the outside of the tire rubber material. In the second year, the focus of this tudy is to gain the coefficient value of tires grip. This study mixes the components of the tire with a different composition. After getting the specimens, shore hardness test and wear test are carried out to them. Then, the test results are compared to the compound material that is already on the market. This study obtained that in Shore A hardness test, the number 3 compound has a shore A hardness value of 77 while the manufacturing compound only has 71. The number 3 compound has a tensile strength 499.820 N or 50.95 kgf so that it produces little wear compared with the other compounds.
