On the Timoshenko theory of transverse beam vibrations

Abstract

The article reports on the goals of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island for establishing the Patrick Ma Digital Scholarship Lab at the Joukowsky Family University Library. It discusses the opportunity to use the videowall visual technology in the conceptualization and comparison of images for scholarly collaborations. It examines the use of the lab in distance education and tool for communication.
