Abstract

On the basis of the mathematical model of the process of controlled start-up of a quarry locomotive, which is an exponential dependence of the relative traction coefficient on the relative start-up time and allows to control the calculated friction coefficient, the dependences of the change in the friction coefficient on the speed of quarry locomotives under rational starting modes were obtained. As a result of theoretical studies for quarry locomotives and traction units, the minimum values of the friction coefficients reduction under rational start-up modes were obtained, which will make it possible to specify their calculated values realized during operation. The obtained dependencies can be taken as a basis for the development of technical requirements for the automatic start-up system of a quarry locomotive, ensuring the implementation of close-to-optimal values of the friction coefficients after the start-up process is completed. In this article, the mathematical dependences of the friction coefficient of a quarry locomotive on its speed are obtained under rational starting modes.
