Abstract. This study aims to find social emotional abilities, identify the implementation of the use of project based learning learning models, analyze the social emotional abilities of children aged 5-6 years at TKQ Riyadlul Jannah. As for the subjects of this study were children aged 5-6 years, totaling 22 students. This research approach uses a quantitative approach to the experimental method. Then this data collection was carried out through documentation studies, observations, interviews and performance appraisal. Data analysis technique is done by correlation test. The results of the study show that the project based learning model which consists of three dimensions, namely: self-awareness, responsibility and social awareness is included in the growing category according to expectations. This is proven based on the results of the correlation test that the level of relationship between project based learning and social emotional learning models is at the level of a strong relationship with a positive form of relationship. Thus it can be concluded that there is an influence of the project based learning model at TKQ Riyadlul Jannah Bandung City to improve the social emotionality of children aged 5-6 years. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan kemampuan sosial emosional, mengidentifikasi pelaksanaan penggunaan model pembelajaran project based learning, menganalisis kemampuan sosial emosional anak usia 5- 6 tahun di TKQ Riyadlul Jannah. Adapun yang menjadi subjek penelitian ini adalah anak usia 5-6 tahun yang berjumlah 22 orang siswa. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Kemudian pengumpulan data ini dilakukan melalui studi dokumentasi, observasi, wawancara dan penilaian unjuk kerja. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan uji korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran project based learning yang terdiri dari tiga dimensi yaitu: kesadaran diri, tanggung jawab dan kesadaran sosial masuk kedalam kategori berkembang sesuai harapan. Hal itu dibuktikan berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi bahwa tingkat hubungan antara model pembelajaran project based learning dan sosial emosional terdapat di tingkat hubungan kuat dengan bentuk hubungan yang positif. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning di TKQ Riyadlul Jannah Kota Bandung untuk meningkatkan sosial emosional anak usia 5-6 tahun.
