Abstract

Anion related radiation-induced coloring of optical phosphate glasses doped with chloride or sulfate was studied by means of optical absorption spectroscopy and electron-paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy. The effect of higher sulfate and chloride concentration (to 10 mol%) was investigated for fluoride-phosphate glasses with 10 mol% of Sr(PO3)2.
