Abstract
Digitoxigenin a-L-oleandroside and 5a-adynerin were isolated from the oven-dried leaves of Nerium odorum, and the structures were elucidated with the aid of 13C nuclear magnetic resonance and finally by the conversion into the glycoside from oleandrin and by the synthesis of 5α-adynerigenin, respectively. © 1978, The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan.
