Fundamentos geológicos do relevo paulista

Abstract

(Republication of the paper Geological foundations of the relief of the State of São Paulo - Fundamentos geológicos do relevo paulista - by Prof. Fernando Flávio Marques de Almeida, originally published in the Boletim do Instituto Geográfico e Geológico, nº41, 1964, dedicated to the Geology of the State of Sao Paulo. This is a new desktop publishing version of the text (including modifications of certain Portuguese terms and place names according to the New Orthographic Agreement) and original illustrations. Some of the illustrations were obtained from the collection of photographs of Prof. Fernando F.M. Almeida, that was created for the publication of the book Geology of the South American continent: evolution of the work of Fernando Flávio Marques de Almeida, and kindly provided by the book's editorial staff and by Professor Almeida's family).
