Abstract

Discomycetes collected from Hainan Island were examined. Twenty-three species and 1 variety belonging to 15 genera were identified. Lachnum hainanense is described as new species and Dasyscyphus singerianus is transferred to Lachnum. Lachnum singerianum and Orbilia cf. fimicola are reported for the first time from China. Previous records from Hainan Island for which specimens are not available are also listed. Fifty-four taxa were found in the areas.
