Abstract

The temporal development of macroobservables is described within a correlation-function-formalism. The results are exact for a certain class of initial ensembles. The same problem is discussed with the help of the linear-response-formalism. The results agree under certain conditions which should be fulfilled for macroobservables. © 1978, Walter de Gruyter.
