ALIH KODE DAN CAMPUR KODE DALAM NOVEL KUKEJAR CINTA KE NEGERI CINA KARYA NINIT YUNITA: KAJIAN SOSIOLINGUISTIK

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dasar-dasar ilmu sosiolinguistik yang difokuskan terhadap bentuk alih kode (code switching), dan campur kode (code mixing)beserta faktor penyebabnya dalam novel Kukejar Cinta ke Negeri Cina karya Ninit Yunita. Penelitian ini menggunakanmetode deskriptif kualitatif dengan sampel kutipan kalimat percakapan antartokoh. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis dokumen (content analysis). Hasil penelitian ini sebagai berikut. Pertama, gejala alih kode terdapat dua bentuk yaitu alih kode intern dan alih kode ekstern. Gejala campur kode terjalin dalam empat bentuk yaitu campur kode penyisipan unsur yang berwujud kata, frasa, baster, idiom, dan klausa. Kedua, faktor penyebab terjadinya alih kode berkaitan dengan pembicara atau penutur, pendengar atau lawan tutur, perubahan situasi dengan hadirnya orang ketiga, perubahan topik pembicaraan, untuk sekedar bergengsi, dan membangkitkan rasa humor. Faktor penyebab terjadinya campur kode meliputi latar belakang sikap penutur dan latar belakang kebahasaan.Kata Kunci: sosiolinguistik, alih kode, campur kode ABSTRACTThis study aims to describe the basics of sociolinguistics that are focused on the form of code switching and code mixing along with their causes in the novel Kukejar Cinta ke Negeri Cina by Ninit Yunita. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with a sample of inter-character conversation sentence quotations. The data collection technique used in this research is document analysis (content analysis). The results of this study are as follows. First, there are two forms of code switching, namely internal code switching and external code switching. Symptoms of code mixing are intertwined in four forms, namely mixing code for inserting elements in the form of words, phrases, baster, idiom, and clause. Second, the factors that cause code switching are related to the speaker or speaker, listener or interlocutor, changes in the situation in the presence of a third person, changes in the topic of conversation, to just be prestigious, and to generate a sense of humor. The factors causing code mixing include the background of the speaker's attitudes and background language.Keywords: sociolinguistics, code switching, code mixing
