Evaluación de la presión del globo traqueal insuflado por técnica de escape mínimo en el Hospital Ángeles Mocel

Abstract

INTRODUCCIÓN La intubación endotraqueal es un procedimiento que consiste en la inserción de un tubo en el interior de la trá-quea; entre sus indicaciones se encuentran la protección y permeabilidad de la vía aérea, la aplicación de ventila-ción mecánica con presión positiva, el proporcionar una oxigenación adecuada y la administración de anestésicos inhalados en pacientes intervenidos quirúrgicamente. 1,2 El tubo endotraqueal (TET) es una interfase para el aporte de oxígeno entre el paciente y la máquina de anestesia y/o el ventilador mecánico (Figura 1). The results showed that, of a total of 339 subjects, 60 (17.7%) had pressures between 20 and 30 cm of H 2 O while 279 (82.3%) showed pressures of less than 20 or over 30 cm of H 2 O. We concluded that the minimal leak technique is a subjective one that has a high grade of inaccuracy, with a tendency to overinfl ate, which can lead to ischemia of the mucosa, with a consequential stenosis.
