Abstract

Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) is now available from several companies in the United States for purchase or research studies. This article provides an overview of these devices and reviews the use of sensors for managing diabetes in "real time," as well as the use of retrospective analysis of CGM results. © Diabetes Technology Society.
