Abstract

Mycocalicium schefflerae sp. nov. is proposed. Colonies derived from isolated ascospores produced a Phialophora anamorph. Ultrastructure of the ascus was studied and found to be of the Parmelia type. Taxonomy of the Mycocaliciaceae is discussed. © 1983 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
