Abstract

This essay reports on the experience of implementing a digital literacy tutoring program for university students, detailing the first seven meetings. Digital literacy emerges as an essential skill in contemporary society, driven by the omnipresence of information and communication technologies (ICT) (Araújo; Glotz, 2014). The program, structured in teaching units, covered everything from basic resources to advanced platforms, seeking to train students in the critical use of digital technologies. The teaching methodology, focused on active participation and collaboration, included dialogued presentations, debates and group exercises. The results demonstrate a significant increase in students' digital skills and a greater awareness of the ethical and responsible use of technologies. The experience reinforces the importance of digital literacy in the university context, preparing students for the challenges of the digital age and thus contributing to digital inclusion.
