Abstract

Recognizing the lesbian movement as a political body made up of people and organizations that produce lesbian identities and other counter-hegemonic sexual identities, the purpose of this study is to present theoretical threads of the political currents of the lesbian thought produced in the West, especially in the twentieth century. To this end, we assume bibliographic research as a methodological device, and the result is an open map of the thinking of lesbian activists who are precursors to the field of lesbianism in the West. Here, the ginga, or the gingar, constitutes a metalanguage endowed with recursion and displacements
