Abstract
In this column of the last issue of SEN (Vol. 10, No. 5), we started discovering the world of software maintenance through selected readings. In this issue we begin exploring the exciting and also depressing (I will try to explain this contradiction in a future column) world of software maintenance. The column of this issue is based on There is a Fortune to be Made in Software Maintenance: Opportunities in the $30 Billion Software After Market by Girish Parikh, copyright @ 1985 by Girish Parikh; published by Shetal Enterprises, Dept. SEN-SMN, 1787-B West Touhy, Chicago, IL 60626.
