ANALISIS INTERAKSI SIMBOLIK KYAI DAN SANTRI DALAM PERSPEKTIF KEPEMIMPINAN BERBASIS NILAI DAN ETIKA

Abstract

Kyai became a model of santri in acting and acting. The kyai leadership emphasizes on the cultivation of values and ethics through the interaction with the santri. The purpose of this research is to know the characteristics of leadership based on values and ethics in Pondok Pesantren Sabilurrosyad, to describe the form of Kyai involvement in implementing value and ethical values to students, and to know the supporting factors and inhibiting Kyai’s leadership. The method used in this research is qualitative with the type of research of symbolic interaction. Data collection techniques are conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that the characteristics of Kyai’s leadership in Pondok Pesantren Sabilurrosyad is based on the attitude of simplicity, responsibility, firmness, patience and example. The attitude is implied in the form of interaction on the routine activities conducted in the hut by Kyai and Santri. Implementation of values and ethics is influenced by various factors both from within and outside the santri.
