Abstract
Nine Fusarium graminearum isolates were obtained from vomitoxin-contaminated 1980 crop winter wheat or barley from southwestern Ontario and tested for in vitro vomitoxin and zearalenone production. All isolates produced both toxins on one or more moist, autoclaved grains with quantifiable levels of the toxins varying from 0.1 to 6.8 ppm for vomitoxin and 0.4 to 90.6 ppm for zearalenone.
