Abstract

Transformation processes in organizations have been a topic of particular relevance, specifically from the raid in a globalized economy. This has enabled organizations to adapt to their environment to survive and to design a new strategic direction. Colombian banking has been one of the sectors, between the years 1990-2012, which has undergone major transformations in the strategic and structural dynamics. In this sense, this study aims to identify the key elements of organizational transformation of Colombian banks in the last two decades given by significant changes that have been exposed and how organizations have reacted to these strategically.
