Abstract

In the spring, moon jellyfish were observed offshore only in the S Texas study area (0.27 aggregations/100 NM2), and inshore only in the North-Central Gulf area (0.11 agg/100 NM2). Fall aggregations of near-surface moon jellyfish were much more abundant. Except in S Texas, Aurelia were observed in all offshore study areas. -from Authors
