Mise à jour de l’inventaire des Chironomidés (Diptera) connus du Maroc

Abstract

A complete inventory of data on Chironomidae (Diptera) reported up to the year 2001 is presented together with the distribution of each of species within the Moroccan territory. The total number of species or taxa now recorded for Morocco is 317. The distribution of this fauna over the different defined areas of Morocco is distinct. The Rif contains 163 species while the Atlas contains 256 species.
