Abstract

This study aims to describe the moral values in the collection of poetry Orang-Orang Kalang by Setia Naka Andrian and their implications. The data of this research are in the form of words, phrases, or sentences which are physical and mental elements of poetry. These elements are used to find moral value in poetry. The results of the study concluded: (1) There are four moral values of human relations with God, namely worship, faith, seeking God, and remembering death. (2) There are four moral values of human relations with the environment and social society, namely not to forget history and culture, tolerance, love for the country, and parental love for children. (3) There are two moral values of human relations with oneself, namely loyalty and patience.
