Dosagem de interleucina 1beta na doença periodontal

Abstract

Determinar o papel da interleucina - 1beta (IL-1beta) como mediador das reações inflamatórias e imunitárias na doença periodontal. FORMA DE ESTUDO: Clínico prospectivo. MATERIAL E MÉTODO: Determinação da concentração da IL-1beta no grupo I (20 indivíduos sadios) e no grupo II (20 indivíduos com doença periodontal), empregando o Kit Easia (Medgenix IL-1beta), com resultados analisados pelo teste t de Student. RESULTADOS: No grupo controle, os valores da IL-1beta foram de 71,28 ± 280,05 pg/ml, e na doença periodontal de 3618,49 ± 2864,75 pg/ml. CONCLUSÃO: A dosagem do IL1-beta no fluido gengival é acentuadamente maior que na doença periodontal.Determine the role of interleukine - 1beta (IL-1beta) as intercellular mediator in generation, amplification and maintenance of inflammatory and immune responses in periodontal disease. MATERIAL AND METHOD: Assessment of concentration of 1L-1beta in group I (20 samples of healthy people) and in group II (20 samples of patients with periodontal disease), employing Easia Kit (Medgenix 1L-1beta), with results statistically analyzed through Student t Test. RESULTS: In control group, media and standard deviation of 1L-1beta concentration were 71,28 ± 280,05 pg/ml and in periodontal disease 3618,49 ± 2864,75 pg/ml. CONCLUSION: The increase of Interleucine 1beta in periodontal disease distinguish from healthy oral mucosa.
