Abstract

The article presents the procedure of in-depth investigation on-site of an accident data collection developed within the project DaCoTA (7th EU Framework Programme). Motor Transport Institute (MTI) participated in a pilot study to test practical usage of proposed methodology. The paper presents procedure, scope of collected data, analysis and the results of research carried out in Poland. After the end of DaCoTA, MTI continues in-depth data collection & analysis of Two Powered Wheel's accidents (with motorcyclists) as EU project named SaferWheels.
