Abstract

The use of so-called emerging technologies at schools is currently a reality that becomes more relevant every day. In this sense, Virtual and Augmented Reality are resources that can help teachers in the teaching of curricular content. This pilot study analyzes the vision of ESo students about the use of these technologies during their learning process. A random sample of high school students (n=62) was used and the implemented design followed a descriptive, correlational and inferential approach. The obtained outcomes pointed that secondary school students consider that VR and AR can be used in their classrooms to promote their learning. In conclusion, high school students feel that these technologies can be used in training settings, but they do not perceive them as implanted into the educational institutions. The study has been carried out under the project design, implementation and evaluation of materials in Mixed Reality for learning environments (PId2019-108933gb-I00).
