Prevention of Child Marriage Through Efforts to Improve Public Awareness

Abstract

Child protection is the right of every person in this world including children, and for children it is absolutely necessary to provide comprehensive protection and bring happiness to the child itself. Protection and welfare are something that has been concretely regulated in various existing regulations, and in order to get real protection by providing responsibility from the smallest part, namely the family, to avoid children or prevent children from early marriage. If early marriage is not prevented, children will experience unhappiness because they do not continue their education and lose their true welfare so that it is impossible to continue their lives because they are already focused on their lives. Prevention of early marriage must be given through education through preventive efforts, especially for the wider community to realize in various actions and deeds in order to provide adequate protection for children from an early age so that children can grow and develop physically and mentally, not to ignore children who do early marriage, this can also be called neglect, but there needs to be a high awareness to foster that children are the next generation of the nation who must be given protection as creatures of God Almighty and also guarantees in their human rights that have been regulated by the State and fellow human beings are obliged to respect and protect them for their dignity and honor
