Abstract
The selection process for contract employee recruitment in the KPU Papua Province is often faced with problems of subjectivity and inefficiency of manual assessment, which has an impact on the inaccuracy of selection results. This research aims to develop a Decision Support System (SPK) using the SMART (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique) method to improve objectivity and selection efficiency. The SMART method was chosen for its ability to accommodate a wide range of assessment criteria with adjustable weights. This system was developed using the Waterfall model and tested using the black box method. The test results showed that the system successfully reduced the potential for bias and increased efficiency and transparency in the selection process. The accuracy test results show that this system has an accuracy of 80%, with precision, recall, specificity, and F1 scores of 80% each. Thus, this SPK supports the KPU in selecting candidates in accordance with the required qualifications.
