Abstract

In large cattle with radial fractures for which internal fixation alone or external coaptation alone would likely be inadequate, a combination of methods may allow for fracture healing. The development of larger implants and the combination of internal and external fixation methods provides hope that certain fractures in cattle that were once thought irreparable can now be treated.
