A live specimen of American lobster, Homarus americanus, was caught off Croatia, north Adriatic Sea. This is the first record of this species wild-caught in the Mediterranean. The origin of the caught specimen is unknown, yet possible pathways and potential impacts are discussed in the paper.© Pavičić et al.
