Abstract

A minor part of the article had described a conjugate, named V-cIDR1018, representing an antibiotic conjugated to a cyclic peptide. After acceptance, we noticed the incorrect representation of this peptide’s conjugation and final structure such that any activity was likely due to conjugation with a linear version of the peptide. Therefore, we are correcting the small portion related to the conjugate V-cIDR1018, which is an inconsequential part of the manuscript and has no impact whatsoever on the results and conclusions of the article.
